“The best organised Mothers day dinner that I have ever attended”

Two Humble stories

JR Humble and Sons Ltd of Cowshill are a well-known and long established firm in the dale. When they are not working around the country in their distinctive wagons they are racing a motorbike. The bike is ridden by Wayne Humble and managed by Michael Humble. Michael and Wayne came to the Hare and Hounds with their bike and the rest of the family to thank all their sponsors. The sponsors include The WeardAle Brewery of The Hare and Hounds ; Merlin Coachworks, A&M Leathers from Barnard Castle and Ian Charlton the Coal merchants that you will see up and down dale from Thornley Village.

Meanwhile Mikaela Humble took part in a reading event and read her books in the most unlikely places.
